Classes

Beach yoga

Outdoor yoga is my first love. While I was training to be an instructor I used to teach friends on the beach after we’d had a swim. When I qualified I decided to combine my two loves: yoga & the sea and teach at my local beach; The Cove, Greystones.

The class is open level so suitable for all, regardless of experience. This is a chance to connect with Mother Nature - to reach for the sky, flow like the sea and ground yourself in the earth.

Beach Yoga at The Cove, Greystones runs from March to October.

Indoor yoga

Teaching in a studio allows a deeper connection to the more physical aspects of our practice. Whether you want an end of day practice to release tension or an early morning flow to get you ready for the day ahead, we have a class for you.

Classes are open level but expect a deeper, more challenging sequence than we have at the beach. Some previous experience helpful but not essential.

Schedule:

Mondays 7pm & 8pm (60 mins)

Fridays 7.10am (50 mins)

All indoor classes at held in The Old School House, Delgany.

Summer Series

If you’re looking for a way to connect with nature, while enjoying your practice in a welcoming, relaxed way, why not join us for one of our outdoor adventures? The Minaste Yoga Summer Series has seen us practice yoga on top of Bray Head, by the Upper Lake in Glendalough, in the woods of Knocksink, on Brittas Bay at sunrise, full moon ceremonies at the Cove and with the seals on the Wicklow Cliff Walk. Each event is topped off with some delicious home baked cakes, a cuppa and chat with other like minded souls. What’s not to love?

Forest Retreat

Last October we had the most wonderful day of yoga, meditation, river swimming and craft in a forest in Wicklow. The canopy of leaves on the forest floor made such a beautiful studio for us. We started the day with a grounding, earthy flow, channeling our root chakra, before breaking for a delicious vegetarian lunch around the campfire. After lunch we flexed our creative juices with a bespoke woodland craft session lead by Annie from Copper & Fern events. We practiced an energizing fire yoga flow before we plunged ourselves in the icy river and finished our day with delicious plant based treats and warm tea. Bliss. Keep a look out on social for details on similar events to come.

Charity Yoga events

Thanks to this incredible community of yogis, we have managed to raise over a three thousand euros in the last couple of years through our charity yoga events. Each event is fun and accessible for all, the main focus being on helping those in need. Most of us finish off our practice with a swim in the sea but this isn’t mandatory! If you’d like to help, please keep a look out on social for up coming events. Namaste
