Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to be "good" at yoga to go on a retreat?

No.

There's no such thing as being "good" or "bad" at yoga. Yoga is a practice and will feel and look different for everyone. It doesn't matter if you practice regularly or never before. Our retreats are a safe space to explore your practice, connect to your breath and relax the body and mind.

Can I come to the retreat on my own?

Absolutely.

Our retreats are relaxed, friendly and welcoming. We understand it can feel a little daunting to come on your own so we make a huge effort to introduce everyone, connect on a one to one basis and create an inclusive environment. If you want to come and spend time on your own, that's find too.

Can I come to the retreat with a partner/friend?

Yes.

We have double rooms to accommodate couples and twin & triple rooms rooms for friends coming together.

Can you accommodate food allergies/dietary restrictions?

The food on retreat is all deliciously home cooked plant based food but we can accommodate any dietary requirements with advance notice.

What’s the typical schedule for a retreat?

Each retreat is slightly different as we curate a unique experience each time but a typical programme for a weekend retreat would include:

4 yoga practices & guided meditations

Guided forest walks/hikes

Lake/sea swims

Plant based food

Good conversation

Plenty of free time

Is there free time on a retreat?

Yes. The entire schedule for our weekend retreats is optional. Each practice (yoga & mediation), along with the any walks/hikes and swims, are invitations. We curate a weekend to allow you to leave feeling nourished in every sense. However, you are your own best guide and teacher and we encourage you to listen to that voice within and do what feels right in that moment.

What do I need to bring with me on retreat?

Comfortable clothes for practice.

Decent walking boots/outdoor trainers for hikes and walks.

Swimming gear if you feel inclined!

Bottle for water.

Open mind.
